GRANTS PANEL MEMBERS Fresh Futures has appointed a Grants Panel to make decisions on grants within the Open Grants Programme. The Grants Panel works within the general directions and parameters set by the programme, but is independent in its decision-making. Membership There are 7 members of the Grants Panel, 1 of whom was appointed by Forward Scotland, 2 by Scottish Natural Heritage and 4 independent members drawn from selected invited organisations. The 7 members are:

Dr Jim McCarthy	SNH East Areas Board member nominated by SNH
Jim Beveridge	Forward Scotland Board member nominated by Forward Scotland
Julia Palmer	Social Justice Programme Manager Capital City Partnership nominated by SCVO
Karryn Kirk	Research Associate Heriot Watt Department of Planning nominated by Heriot Watt University
Jon Simmons	Ferguson McIlveen, Landscape Architects Member of Executive, Landscape Institute Scotland nominated by Landscape Institute Scotland
Susan Whitfield	Sustainable Communities Project Manager Renfrewshire Council nominated by CoSLA
Dr Jim McCarthy and Jim Beveridge chair the Grants Panel meetings on a rotating basis.
